I’m a huge fan of blogs and podcasts.
I read a dozen or more blogs each week and have for years. And since January 2013, when I first discovered the joys of podcasts, I listen to one almost daily. The topics I prefer skew toward marketing, social media and business, but I also like health-focused blogs and podcasts. (Intermittent Fasting Stories is a current podcast fave. OMAD, 16:8. ADF. If you know what I’m referring to, check out the show!)
I learn so much from this consumption and enjoy the more personal nature of blogs and podcasts where I can connect with their publishers in a more meaningful way — versus reading or hearing something from a faceless company’s perspective.
Blogs are a favorite marketing platform that I recommend to most clients — and I walk the talk, too, because I publish articles on my blog. I enjoy this writing so much, even when I don’t always prioritize time for it. (Want to subscribe to my blog? Sign up here.)
